About
I work at the intersection of data engineering, applied NLP, GenAI, data quality, and technical leadership.
I hold a PhD in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo, with research in Computational Linguistics focused on the automatic detection of hate speech on social media.
This background gave me experience across the language data lifecycle: collection, annotation, linguistic analysis, modeling, evaluation, and communication of results.
Throughout my career, I have worked on applied NLP initiatives, coordinated technical and linguistic projects, and led multidisciplinary software engineering teams.
My current professional focus is building reliable language and data systems through strong data foundations, rigorous evaluation, and security-aware design.
